This Pinot Noir, the first at Dryridge Estate, is gorgeously light with tastes of cranberry and raspberry. It is a perfumed wine with scents of earth, spice, cherries, strawberries, herbs and raspberries. It is light to medium bodied, with high acidity which will age well.
Palate - The wine displays a juicy, sweet-fruit middle palate with soft, ripe tannins and fresh acidity.
Food match – This Pinot Noir, due to its more delicate nature and red berry profile is perfect for many wine and food pairings. Best matches are duck, pork, veal, chicken, squab, tuna, salmon and other meaty fishes.
Cellaring potential - this wine will keep and continue to develop over the next 5-7 years.
