Shiraz has bright red colour with lavender hues. Chocolate raspberries and red fruits show first on the nose, then pepper and exotic spice evolve as it opens up. Jack displays tastes of blackcurrant and chocolate also.

The palate - has lively acidity which persists and carries the fruit long after you've swallowed. Tannins are soft and velvety, and there's a coffee/cherry note that lingers. Fleshy and delicious!

Food match - this wine is crying out for protein! Red meat, preferably gelatinous, BBQ-ed and rare! Brontosaurus rib perhaps?

Cellaring potential - this wine will keep and continue to develop over the next 12 years.
