We are very proud to receive a gold medal in the recent Blue Mountains, Lithgow and Oberon Tourism (BMLOT) awards that took place on Friday the 9th of August. We know Bob would have been proud to accept this award and receive the recognition for the hard work and determination he showed in pioneering viticulture in the Megalong Valley.
August Vineyard Update

As we speak the vineyard is being pruned for the coming season and we expect bud burst to occur in mid to late September. We are also very excited to harvest the first vintage of Tempranillo from our vineyard in 2014. Tempranillo is a Spanish red wine variety that is well suited to the cool climate conditions of the Megalong Valley and is rapidly growing in popularity across Australia. The name Tempranillo is derived from the Spanish word
temprano which translates as 'early', referring to the characteristic of ripening several weeks earlier than most red wine varieties
