2009 Nellie's Cabernet Rosé

Rosé made from estate-grown and hand-picked Cabernet Sauvignon grapes has become a signature Dryridge Estate wine. This 2009 vintage shines out of the glass with floral raspberry, strawberry and concentrated red cherry on the nose before leading to a perfectly balanced palate. It deserves a place on all summer lunch tables.

Appearance - Bright raspberry with salmon pink hues.

Nose - Red cherry, sweet raspberry, strawberry and musk create a very fine and elegant nose that is supported nicely by lifted violets and chalky minerality.

Palate - Full flavoured with long and even acidity and concentrated herbal menthol notes, the palate explodes with more savoury varietal characters of red capsicum and bramble. The palate continues, balanced beautifully with a touch of sweetness and great length that shows the natural acidity and ripeness Dryridge vineyard is capable of. Rosé can be a brilliant drink and this one is no exception.
