The estate

Nestled in the beautiful Megalong Valley and surrounded by towering sandstone escarpments high in the Blue Mountains, Dryridge Estate is 25 minutes by car from Blackheath, the nearest mountains township and only two hours from the Sydney city centre.

The property comprises 4.7 hectares of vines and 45 hectares devoted to grazing Hereford cattle. It is a delight to explore with picnic spots in the vineyard and along Megalong Creek with its clear water, sandy bottom, private swimming hole and spectacular waterfall. Half the estate is conservation-protected Megalong Granite Forest.

This is typical granite country with ridges and rolling hills ranging from moderately inclined to very steep and occasional outcrops of large round granite boulders .
